My First Nightmare
Today I had my first nightmare when I was having my mid day nap. And I could describe it in detail to my eagerly listening parents. A tap (of water) caught me! It wouldn't let me go! It had big eyes. It was white. I said "let me go, let me go", but it wouldn't. I woke up crying and was telling mom how the tap wasn't letting me go. It was a very naughty tap!

I Can Talk and Talk and Talk!
I am 21 months old! My daddy forgot to update the blog in the last 8 months! I talk continuously, just like my grandma (dadi). I can talk in full sentences. My dad thinks I talk like a 6 year old.
Mommy has a real hard time feeding me. I was always difficult when it came to feeding. Now I am just super difficult. What can I do, for some reason, I don't like eating. The only thing I like to drink in this world is mommy's milk.
I eat a little, when I feel like. Amazingly, my taste is a lot like my dad. I like shrimp, which I call "chungi", which means "chingri" in my language. I like eggs and ghee. Lots of other things I like just like daddy.
I am driving mom crazy. Mom and dad think that's my mission in life. I am keeping mom awake till 2 or 3am in the morning. Daddy is a sleep bug. He can fall asleep at 12am, no matter what I do. Mom helps daddy to sleep. But mom has to keep awake. Last night, I kept mom awake till 5am, hurray! That's my personal best so far! My new arsenal in keeping mom/dad awake is crying so much that I vomit. How can I do it? Easy, I sleep till 11am. Then sleep for a few hours right after sunset. That's how I can be all shiny and rosy till 2-3am. You got to admire me! Ah, mom/dad are trying so much to change my schedule. But I'm not that easy. I can't be. My name is Nusaiba after all.

The first word I spoke is allah. I probably don't know the meaning of this word yet. I just picked it up from hearing a lot of "oh allah". And I still say it in an elongated manner: allaaaah. I starting uttering distinguishable words around 10 months. By 13 months, the words I can say are:

- baba. Variation: abba.
- maa.

I am born!
I came to this world on April 11, 2010. I am a beautiful baby. I want to document my growing up in this blog. Actually, it's my parents who are writing this blog and it's them who want to document my growing up ... hee hee.
In the first few months, I made sure my parents couldn't sleep at night. Mostly my mom. I let my dad sleep a little more.
My nani (grandma) made a lot of clothes and cloth diapers for me. My mom, being a would be hippie, insisted on using cloth diapers until I was older. I forgot how many dozens of diapers they had to change every day.
